Error on SETO Quark

After installing SETO Quark on my system, i’ ve came across a problem. While i was trying to add a new object/blob through code or the actual Gui i was getting an error message. The error is shown below:

ERROR: Method ‘relativeOrigin_’ of class SCUserView is deprecated and will be removed.

I have emailed the NUI Forum Community to get advice on the error. Martin Kaltenbrunner replied that i should contact the SC Tuio Client author Till Bovermann directly. Since i was unable to find any contact details of T.B. i have send a mail to the “sc-dev”.

Fortunately, i’ve got an answer from Scott Wilson. He replied saying that:

SETO uses a method which will eventually be removed (probably in the next release). These are warnings to people to change their code before that happens. In this case, it really applies to the developer, not you”.

Few more replies were supporting that it is really not a warning but an error. Error means that “something is wrong; there is a fault.

At the moment we should ignore the above Error/Warning according to Scott Wilson, and wait for SETO’s next release. I will continue working with SETO as it is.
