Presenting : GestMini V 0.2
Presenting GestMini v 0.2. A mini DI multitouch surface. GestMini was developed for experimentation issues aiming towards my grand finale GESTUS. The materials used for building GestMini v 0.2 are:
Materials:
- Cardboard Box (30x40x40) - (free of charge)
- Plexiglass (30x40) - (5€)
- Tracing Paper (30x40x40) - (0,5€)
- Wooden Picture Frame (30x40) - (18€) used as a lid for the box and as a holder for the plexiglass and the tracing paper.
- Playstation EyeToy USB Camera (Borrowed)
- 6 White battery LEDs (5€)
Total Cost: 30€ aprox. (Without the need of a cam).
Software:
- CCV
- FLOSC Demo

CyNotes: Although the multitouch tracking through CCV was working really smooth and the blob recognition was almost excellent, i have faced some problems on the FLOSC Demo. This could be because of the use of TUIO TCP Flash msgs instead of TUIO OSC. I ll work on it. Next step is to use TUIO OSC send to SC before i seek for any other reason that might cause the problems. Further development is required.
